111 System pass
How to read it
Code 111 reads as 1 flash, pause, 1 flash, pause, 1 flash on the check-engine light. Jumper the self-test input to signal return at the test connector, then run the key on engine off self test and the running self test, counting the check-engine flashes each time.

What does Ford code 111 mean?
111. System pass. This code sets when your vehicle computer detects system pass.
Common causes of 111
- Self test ran to completion with no faults stored
- All monitored circuits reported in range during the test
- A recent repair cleared the fault and the system now passes
- Battery power was interrupted and cleared stored codes before the test
- No fault is present at the time of testing
How to fix 111
- Treat code 111 as a pass, not a fault, and do not replace parts for it
- Continue to the next code if more codes follow in the flash sequence
- If a symptom remains, road test the vehicle and retest to catch an intermittent fault
- Check under the conditions that trigger the symptom before calling the system healthy
- Retest after any repair to confirm the pass still holds
